Dr. Robert Foltz, is a clinical psychologist and associate professor of clinical psychology. He has over 35 years of experience in the field, working with children and adolescents across inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment settings. Within academia, Dr. Foltz teaches courses on child & adolescent disorders, pediatric psychopharmacology, trauma theory & intervention, and evidence-based practices. He has conducted research within residential settings and has many professional presentations and publications on the topics of psychopharmacology, child & adolescent diagnoses, and strength-based interventions. His latest book, No Method to the Madness: Making Sense of the Psychiatric Treatment of Our Youth, was published in 2025 and examines our diagnostic framework and the use of psychotropic medications in youth.
