Description
Poor sleep doesn’t just leave patients tired – it amplifies pain, hinders posture, and undermines balance, creating a perfect storm for fall risk.
Unfortunately, many clinicians totally overlook this risk.
This seminar dives into the evidence-based connection between sleep, pain, and mobility, equipping you with practical tools to assess and address sleep-related factors with geriatric patients. Learn to spot sleep-related contributors to fall risk, incorporate simple sleep screening tools, and differentiate fatigue-driven posture issues from mechanical problems. You’ll gain actionable strategies to educate patients, improve adherence, and tailor interventions that enhance both sleep and function. Discover how addressing sleep can reduce pain, correct imbalances, and transform your outcomes – while building trust and referrals in the process.
