If you’re not fully harnessing your patients’ lymphatic systems…

…you’re missing one of the most powerful tools you have to help them heal after surgery, manage chronic pain and inflammation, and break through treatment plateaus with lymphedema and lipedema.

The lymphatic system is the body’s unsung hero. It’s essential for immune function, tissue healing, and fluid balance — yet it’s often overlooked in traditional rehab approaches. When you learn to activate and optimize it, you can transform the way you treat swelling, accelerate recovery timelines, and improve your patients’ overall outcomes.

That’s why some of the most-followed and most-respected lymphatic health experts have joined forces to create a truly integrative training — bringing together physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, and holistic perspectives — to help you unlock the full potential of the lymphatic system in your practice.

You might know Kelly Sturm, PT, DPT, OnCS, CLT-LANA; Leah Levitan, LMT, CLT; and Barbara (Babz) Tobin, MSOT, OTR/L, CLT-LANA, CYT, REIKI from social media — but they’re also seasoned clinicians who have walked in your shoes. And they’re joined by additional lymphatic specialists, so you’ll learn from a team that spans disciplines and treatment philosophies. Together, they’ll take you far beyond a cookie-cutter anatomy lecture and give you proven, clinically relevant strategies you can use right away, including:

  • Manual Lymph Drainage Techniques you can easily integrate into your sessions
  • Breathwork and Movement to stimulate lymph flow naturally
  • Compression Garment Strategies to maximize patient compliance and outcomes
  • Nutrition and Self-Care Plans to empower your patients between visits

This training is practical, engaging, and designed to elevate your clinical results — and we’re so confident you’ll love it that we back your registration with a risk-free guarantee.

Exercise Prescription for Lymphatic Health and Lymphedema
Kelly Sturm, PT, DPT, OnCS, CLT-LANA | Click here for information about Kelly Sturm

While there is increasing evidence supporting the role of exercise in managing lymphedema, many professionals are unaware of the latest research on how specific types of exercise (aerobic, resistance, flexibility) can enhance lymphatic drainage. Join Kelly, founder of Cancer Rehab PT, LLC, and unlock targeted exercises that can enhance lymphatic function, reduce swelling, and prevent flare-ups. Kelly has developed one of the largest YouTube exercise libraries available for this patient population. Be prepared to access new updates on:

  • Rebounding

  • Resistance training
  • Exercises parameters & contraindications
  • Flexibility, stretching, & fibrosis
  • Aerobic exercise
  • And more!

The Intersection of Stress and Lymphatic Health
Kathleen Lisson, CLT, CAMTC, BCTMB | Click here for information about Kathleen Lisson

Lymphedema therapy is more than just measuring, MLD and wrapping. Every day we encounter tricky scenarios like these:

  • “A patient comes to us with swelling right after surgery, what should we recommend in addition to usual care?”
  • “A patient is clearly anxious during CDT, what should we recommend that will reduce stress and improve their lymphedema symptoms?”
  • “A patient asks what else they can do to manage their lymphedema in a holistic way after CDT is complete, what do we recommend?”

If you are like so many other clinicians who are unsure what to do in these situations, this session is for you!

Join Kathleen, author of Stress Reduction for Lymphedema, and look at what researchers from around the world have found beneficial for lymphedema self-care. You'll discuss these studies live, and practice techniques pulled from evidence-based protocols. You'll discover how you can effectively:

  • Reduce the damaging effects of workplace stress on patients with lymphedema
  • Improve adherence to self-care programs overcoming state anxiety
  • Harness the power of simple strategies like breathwork, mindfulness and muscle relaxation
  • Move beyond stale, traditional advice on skin care, diet, and exercise

Lisa Burraston, MS, OTR/L, CLT-LANA | Click here for information about Lisa Burraston

This session will provide you with in-depth information on lipedema, how to stage and type lipedema, co-morbidities and differential diagnosis related to lipedema, and emerging diagnostic tools.

Join Lisa, who is teamed up with one of the nation's leading surgeons for lipedema treatment. You'll explore surgical interventions and how it impacts swelling. Collaboratively evaluate the most current research on conservative treatment strategies therapists can utilize for both surgical and nonsurgical patients. Plus, examine how lipedema impacts not only lymphatics but also its psychosocial and nutritional implications.
