Doreen Cruz-Delgado, MS, CCC-SLP, Bilingual Speech Language
Doreen Cruz, M.S., CCC-SLP, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, has worked for 10 years in a special education preschool, primarily servicing bilingual (Spanish/English) students ages birth to five. She has been working with the Orange Board of Education in New Jersey as a member of the Child Study Team, providing speech and language services to both monolingual and bilingual students ages three to fifteen. She is the bilingual evaluator and consultant throughout the district, providing training to staff and support to teachers working with Spanish-speaking students. Ms. Cruz is also an independent consultant for other school districts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania who require assistance with evaluating Spanish-speaking students. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, N.Y. and her Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hunter College in New York City. Ms. Cruz obtained New York State certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) and a Bilingual Extension to the TSHH in NY. She is also state licensed and school certified in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
