Kaytee Gillis, LCSW-BACS, is a psychotherapist, writer, and author with a passion for working with survivors of family trauma and intimate partner violence, and the LGBTQ+ community. She’s the author of four books, including It’s Not High Conflict, It’s Post-Separation Abuse, which highlights ways that the legal system can perpetuate the cycle of domestic violence by failing to recognize patterns that would hold perpetrators accountable and protect survivors. She provides training and education on recognizing post-separation abuse as a form of coercive control.
