Audrey M. Stevenson, PhD, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC
Audrey M. Stevenson, PhD, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 34 years of experience spanning inpatient and ambulatory settings – including urgent care, community clinics, and STI clinics – as well as public health and healthcare leadership. She holds master’s degrees in both nursing and public health.
Dr. Stevenson has published and presented nationally and internationally on topics relevant to advanced practice nurses and other healthcare providers. She currently works as a consultant and teaches graduate FNP and MPH students at several universities. Her public health leadership includes serving as division director of family health and clinical services at the Salt Lake County Health Department and during the COVID-19 pandemic, as vaccination branch director for the Salt Lake County Incident Command – where she oversaw vaccination strategies for 1.2 million residents.
Dr. Stevenson serves on the statewide vaccine advisory board, collaborating on vaccine policy and recommendations. She joined the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases Board of Directors in 2025 and participates in a national workgroup focused on immunization strategies to improve vaccine uptake and reduce vaccine-preventable disease.
